Black Man Kicked Out of Gym for Supporting Trump
LOS ANGELES – Newsmax TV and radio talk show host Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson was harassed and kicked out of Equinox Sports Club Los Angeles by management yesterday for his outspoken support of President Donald Trump. The following is Rev. Peterson’s statement regarding this incident:
“I have been a member of this Equinox gym for years. On Friday, August 11, I was doing a brief radio interview on my friend Bill Cunningham's Radio Show on 700 WLW (Cincinnati, OH). I was doing the interview in a quiet room at the gym away from people (as I have done many times in the past), when the assistant manager and manager at Equinox confronted, harassed, and kicked me out because they overheard my comments in support of President Trump. They were also angry because they heard me say that blacks and Hispanics are NOT suffering due to "racism" (one of them is Hispanic). As a result, these Equinox employees repeatedly got in my face and kicked me out of the gym. They also threatened to permanently cancel my membership.”
